The trial, the pass, and refunds.

The short version

Every new account starts with the trial: 14 days of the full app, free, and no card needed. After that, the pass is $199 for one year. It is paid once and does not renew by itself. If you change your mind within 30 days of buying it, you get a full refund, once per account.

The trial

The trial starts when you create your account and lasts 14 days. You get everything the app does: your plan, the coach, the profile optimizer and the job search for your paths. We never ask for a card during the trial, so when it ends nothing is charged. It simply ends, and your account is lapsed until you buy the pass.

The pass

What it costs

$199 for one year of the full app. Where sales tax applies, it is added at checkout as its own line, so the total you pay is the total you see.

When the year starts

Bought during the trial, the year starts when the trial would have ended, so buying early costs you no trial days. Bought after, it starts the day you buy it.

Renewal

The pass does not renew by itself, and nothing is kept on file to charge again. Thirty days before it ends we email you once, and you can buy another year if you still want one.

Payment

Payment is taken by Stripe on its own checkout page. We never see your card number. Stripe emails your receipt.

Refunds

Within 30 days of buying the pass, you can have a full refund with no questions asked, once per account. Use the “Refund my pass” button on your account page, or email hello@afterbedside.com.

A refund ends the pass that day. If you still had trial days left, you go back to them; otherwise your account is lapsed. Deleting your account within the 30 days refunds the pass automatically.

After 30 days there is no partial refund. The pass runs to the end of its year.

When an account is lapsed

When the trial or the pass ends, your account is lapsed. You keep everything, and you can still tick off plan steps, update your applications, change your paths and run the calculator. What stops is the work we do for you: no plan updates, no coaching, no profile suggestions, and no new job searches. Your job feed keeps the listings found before it lapsed. Buy the pass at any time and it all starts again.
